A Week In Photos #2

- Bulmers, Chats with Siri, Dressing table, Make-up bag and Chanel perfume,
-Lazy Sunday dvd (Going the distance), Tickets for The Script, Ear cuff, Moo dressing gown,
-Essie and Nars nails, before a night out, stupid faces, posers.

Its been a fairly uneventful week of work, with only one night out, but with it being my birthday this week I have a week off work and lots of exciting posts lined up including a birthday haul, my birthday outfits and a few other bits and bobs. Hope you're all enjoying a lazy sunday x

NARS Ecume Nail Varnish

I've recently been seeing a few celebrities sporting white nail varnish and I think it looks really bold and chic without being tacky and in your face. It took me a while to find one and I probably could of just used the nail varnish that is used to create white tips, but I wanted it to stand out properly. I bought this one from NARS in the colour 'Ecume'. Its a pure white with a semi-glossy finish and opaque with two or three coats. This was quite expensive for a nail varnish at £12 from ASOS but I think it's worth it and is a decent sized bottle. I've had it on for four days and it hasn't chipped. I was a little concerned that with it being white it might get dirty very quickly but it hasn't at all. I'm really pleased with it and will definitely be buying NARS nail varnishes in the future. Those are my real nails too by the way. I've been letting my nails recover from acrylics for a few months, but I'm going to get them put on again tomorrow ready for my birthday celebrations. I'm in no way a beauty expert by the way so I'm sorry if this isn't a very helpful review but it was a product I was really excited about and wanted to recommend. I hope it was of use in some way x

I've got all night to listen to the heart of a girl

My favourite designer is Michael Kors and my favourite accessory is a watch, so the two combined is perfect for me. Whenever I have an excuse to buy a watch I do. I think watches are a great investment though, so I tend to only buy expensive ones that I really love and will last a while. I have a tattoo on my wrist as well so with jobs wearing a watch is an easy way to conceal it. With payday and my birthday coming up I've decided to purchase a new one but I'm undecided on which. I've already got a rose gold one and a white one, so I'm not sure if to get a silver one, a gold one or a gold and tortoise one (I've said the word one way too much in this post) I think I'm swaying towards the gold and tortoise watch because my white one has silver on it.

My white MK watch

I love layering with watches too, especially with link chain bracelets, I think it's so pretty. Heres a few pictures of inspiration.

Weekend spikes again

Monday morning strikes again after a hectic weekend of fun. Shopping, drinking, eating. It's hard work. Went out for a meal on saturday night before going out for drinks, so I decided to wear my new black studded/spiked shoulder top. I found it in an outlet store from the brand 'Fuse' and it was only £14! I'll be doing a post soon on some jewellery pieces I've been picking up lately too. I love my nail ring which I got from River Island for £4. I threw in some other photos from the weekend too. Sorry about the lighting and non painted nails.

Catch 22

In two weeks time I turn 22. It's come around so quickly! I'm not overly thrilled about leaving 21 so I've been trying to think of some pretty things I can buy myself or get as gifts from family. Heres a few things I've had my eye on. I will by no means be getting all of them though. I think the YSL silver and pink ring is my favourite as I have a cold and blue one, which i received for my 21st, so the silver will be a nice change to celebrate a year on. Everything except the ring are available at Selfridges. The ring only seems available from the YSL website.

Graduation

This post is a bit late but recently I graduated with a degree in English & Creative writing. I'm not really sure what career path I'm going to go down yet though. I think its going to be a trial and error process until I find out. I wasnt really sure what to wear to my graduation so I thought this would be a good post for anyone who has a graduation coming up or a smart occasion, as it shows what I was wearing and also some of my friends. I hope its helpful. My dress was from Topshop and around forty pounds, sorry I cant remember the exact price but I think it's still available in black. As its the peplum style I'm sure lots of brands currently have very similar styles too. My glasses are also Ray-Bans for anyone wondering.
