Catch 22 - Birthday Outfit

My birthday didn't exactly turn out how i'd planned. I went out on the weekend to celebrate but then unfortunately got sick and have spent the last few days in bed. Yesterday was my birthday and I still have a birthday haul to show you. I had some really lovely gifts and messages so thanks to everyone. I was planning to go out last night too but obviously couldn't. I also broke my camera so I only managed to get a few shots of the outfit but none of them are full length to show the shoes, which i'm gutted about. 

My black peplum dress is from Miss Selfridge and was £38. I love the leather look part on the waist as it hides the unflattering parts that the rest of the bodycon dress would of exposed and adds a new edge on the LBD. I thought that was a really good price too cause I know I can wear it more than once by changing accessories and making it look like a different outfit. That leads me on to the belt, which is from ASOS and is £15 but I got it cheaper with discount. I definitely recommend it. I love the metal plate at the front and of course the spikes. To me it's the perfect belt to add to a dress as it can make it look like a completely different outfit. And finally, as it was my birthday and not a funeral I added some colour in the form of these electric blue wedges. People were stopping me and asking where they were from all night. I actually bought them from an ebay shop about a year ago and I think they were around £22. I'm sorry I couldnt get better outfit photos and for the fact I look broken or like cousin IT in most of the ones I did manage to get x
